Indonesian Foreign Ministry gave Art and Culture Scholarship!

INDONESIA - JAKARTA - Scholarships this one is quite unique, the recipient will be placed on five Indonesian tradition of art galleries, to study Indonesian art and culture for three months.
Scholarships routine Foreign Ministry issued INDONESIA (Kemenlu) is called Art and Culture Scholarship Indonesia (BSBI). He offered to students from Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Timor Leste, the countries of Asia, Europe, the United States and Britain.
Programs that have been conducted since 2003 shows the commitment of Indonesia to increase cooperation in the field of social culture among different countries in the world. The program also aims to create a better understanding of cultural diversity of Indonesia. In the long term, BSBI program is a means of cooperation in the field of culture and diplomacy between countries of participants.
This year, the program BSBI will be held on 25 April to 29 July 2011. The scholarship recipients will be placed in five groups of five studies in studio art tradition of Indonesia, namely in Lampung, Bandung, Denpasar, Solo and Surabaya.
   In Bandung, the participants will learn BSBI Sundanese art and culture such as angklung, musicians, puppet show, and traditional Sundanese dance. Lessons on art, language and Javanese culture and philosophy such as the process of batik, gamelan, and traditional Javanese dance will be provided in the studio arts in Solo and Surabaya.
Participants who lived in Bali will study the cultural and artistic Balinese dance and Balinese gamelan. In Bandar Lampung, this program participants will learn a variety of cultures and arts of Sumatra. Not only that, each of the arts center will also invite the program participants BSBI visit various tourist attractions and excursions to local villages to learn more about Indonesian culture.
As a participant BSBI program, you will get the cost of education, including intra-and extra-curricular activities, economy class airfare, accommodation, health insurance, and living expenses per month Rp1, 5 million.

You must be aged between 21-30 years to last a minimum education of high school (SMA), and has a high interest and talent in the arts. Student art on the basis of Indonesian culture studies are strongly encouraged to register the program. Due to strict and tight schedule of the program, then you also must be in good health physically and mentally. 
Next, fill out the registration form and complete file pendaftaranmu with three pieces of passport size photographs, photocopy of valid passport, a copy of the last diploma, copy of health certificate from a competent medical institution, and letters of recommendation. You also must make a personal statement that includes a willingness to meet and follow all the activities in the program BSBI according to the rules and regulations, both the committee and legal regulations of Indonesia.
