World Fellowship for Young Leaders

International Youth foundation

International Youth Foundation opened the fellowship program for young world working on the project or to establish an organization for social change. Titled 2013 Global YouthActionNet Laureate Fellowship, this program strengthens, supports and appreciates the role of young people in leading change in their communities.

Each year, 20 candidates were selected as YouthActionNet Global Fellows through a series of competitive selection process. The program lasts for one year which will include a variety of skill-building training, especially about the personal and leadership development, networking, and advocacy.

The program is open to those aged 18-29 years (as of 1 October 2013). Applicants must be a founder or initiator of a project or organization. Those who led the project of social change within an organization are also allowed to register.

Applicants must speak English very well, and the application was written in English. In addition, applicants must be able to follow the program as a whole at the beginning of October 2013 in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
